Usage:
Calcined petroleum coke is a petrochemical product whose raw material is green petroleum coke. It is widely used in the production of graphite electrodes, graphite blocks, brake pads and other products. It is also a kind of carburizing machine used in the production of steel mills and aluminum plants. CPC is also can be used for refractory materials, insulation materials, fillers, etc.
Calcined petroleum coke is mainly used for prebaked anode and cathode for eletrolytic aluminium, in this case calcined petroleum coke specially need low ash content, the elements Na, V, Ni, Ca, Si, Fe, and S in ash do not exceed the specified standards.
It is can be used as carburizing agent (Recarburizer) for metallurgical steel industry, grey and ductile iron casting foundry.
It is also use as raw material for producing graphite electrode, graphite block, brakes pads and other carbon products.
Calcined Petroleum Coke is the product of raw petroleum coke after calcined at 1300ºC temperature. In the calcination process, the structure and element composition of various carbonaceous have undergone a series of deep changes, which eliminate the moisture and volatile matter in petroleum coke, improve the density and mechanical strength of products, and improve the electrical conductivity and antioxidant properties of raw petroleum coke.
